WEAVING SAMPLES
TEXTILE DESIGN - HANDWEAVING
I really value the practice of weaving for its meditative impacts, strategic mathematical thinking, and the unique ways I am able to conduct color theory exploration. The role weaving has in the textile industry is monumental and I am honored to take part in the ancient practice. As a graphic designer I am overwhelmed by the ideas of applications I could incorporate weaving, and the numerous materials I could attempt to use as wefts by example the rainbow synthetic roving and neon tulle in samples above. Weaving is a major catalyst in my passion for furthering my textiles education.
